About Trafalgar Place

Trafalgar Place will deliver 235 new high-quality homes on the site bordered by Rodney Road, Balfour Street and Victory Place. It will also provide new public spaces and public realm improvements, including a new pedestrian and cycle connection from Balfour Street to Rodney Road, reinstating the historic route Paragon Row.

Construction progress

Construction at Trafalgar Place began in July 2013 and the site is set for completion by summer 2015. For more information about how construction work is progressing click here.

Public consultation

Trafalgar Place received planning consent on 5th February 2013. Further details of the planning application can be found on the Council website here.

The final proposals for this scheme were refined during a consultation process which began in October 2011. The key dates for the public consultation can be found below:

  • Public consultation on initial proposals, October 2011
  • Interim design exhibition, May 2012
  • Final Designs Exhibition, August 2012
